Voting times

(before the main voting day) 1.45–6.00 pm only in the town hall

(before the main voting day) 8:00 am - 12:00 noon only in the town hall
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm only in the town hall

(Main voting day) 9:30 am to 11:30 am in the town hall
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the school buildings:
Kurzdorf, Ergaten, Langdorf and Huben

Early voting

Monday up to and including Friday morning before the main voting day:
During office hours in the town hall.
The voting card and the sealed envelope with the voting and ballot papers must be handed in personally; representation between spouses remains reserved.

Voting by post

  • Voting by post is possible from the day of delivery. The consignment must arrive at the city chancellery by the Saturday before the main voting day.
  • The completed voting papers must be sealed in the voting envelope and to send it back by post together with the voting card or to put it in the special mailbox in the Ratshaus-Arkade.

When voting at the ballot box as well as early voting, spouses and partners from registered partnerships can cast their partner's voting material in addition to their own voting material, provided they live in the same household.
