Will natural gas recover

Natural Gas Futures: Expanding Recovery

Given the advanced data for the CME Group's natural gas futures markets, open interest rose for the fourth year in a row on Monday, this time by approximately 7.6K contracts. On the flip side, the volume resumed the downtrend, shrinking about 25.4K contracts.

Natural gas faces further gains of over $ 3.00

natural gas extended recent gains to close just below the all-important $ 3.00 per MMBtu on Monday. The daily rise was accompanied by growing open interest and leaves the door open for further gains once the $ 3.00 is overcome in the short term.
