Your Studiosus tour guide will welcome you to the hotel and give you tips for the evening off. In the restaurants on the Singapore River, you can try Chinese dim sum or Malaysian satay in the evenings. Or how about a Singapore Sling in the bar of the Raffles Hotel, where celebrities from Charlie Chaplin to Kaiser Wilhelm have stayed?
3rd day, Friday, October 29th, 2021
Singapore - modern multicultural metropolis
In the morning we get intoxicated by the fireworks of colors and scents in the botanical garden, then multicultural Singapore awaits you: women in colorful saris in Little India and smoldering incense sticks in the temples of Chinatown - this is where peoples and religions mix. Then it's off to the futuristic Marina Bay Sands, one of the most outstanding construction projects in the world. From its large viewing terrace, we look out over the megacity from a lofty 200 meters height. Explore Singapore individually in the afternoon! View from the second tallest Ferris wheel in the world or marvel at the flowers in the Gardens by the Bay? The hotel room is booked until 5 p.m. In the evening a pleasant direct flight with Singapore Airlines to Christchurch (flight time approx. 10 hours). (F)

Under venerable cedars, Mark, in proper style in a kilt, is playing a welcome greeting and tells of the tradition of the bagpipe bands in the New World. At dinner in the Victorian Curator's House, we get in the mood for culinary New Zealand. (A)

Would you like to go on extra tours? Studiosus has always prepared alternatives to the program. Rather more Christchurch than a stroll in the Cashmere Hills? Mt. Cook, the cloud cutter
In front of the chain of the New Zealand Alps we • hike (3 hours, medium, ↑ 250 m ↓ 250 m) on the Hooker Valley Track - over mountain rivers in which pieces of glacier swim like ice cubes in the "glacier milk" - at the foot of Mt. Cook . It is no coincidence that the Maori named New Zealand's highest peak (3724 m) Aoraki, "Wolkenstecher". Will the shy comrade show up today?
