As a member of the “Group of 8”, the location in Malaysia also benefits from the research strengths of the university. Its wide range of courses with a mix of classic and innovative programs is spread across seven faculties. These programs also include some more specialized courses that focus, for example, on Asian Business Strategy, Capital Market Behavior and Islamic Economic Development. True to its motto "Ancora Imparo" (I am still learning), the university attaches particular importance to expanding its research centers, especially in the areas of tropical medicine, genetic research and green electronics.

Monash University Malaysia is a comparatively large overseas campus. The offers and services of the university, especially for international students who spend a semester abroad in Malaysia or a full bachelor's or master's degree in Kuala Lumpur, are excellent. A variety of sports and leisure facilities are available to students, making studying abroad in Kuala Lumpur a special experience. The student accommodation is suitable for international students and offers good value for money. In general, the cost of living is cheaper than in Germany.

The university campus is located approximately 20 km southwest of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Together with other universities, it is located in the popular district of Bandar Sunway, which offers many entertainment and leisure opportunities. Located in the center of Southeast Asia, the country is a good starting point for exploring Asia. Singapore is only half an hour's flight away and Thailand is just an hour's flight away.

Testimonials

"I really enjoyed studying at Monash University Malaysia. At the start of the semester, Monash offers a buddy program that I can recommend to everyone. Within this, students have the opportunity to take part in various events and excursions. I have During this time, I was able to make a lot of contacts who were happy to help me again and again during my stay.

In general, Monash University is a very international university with a high degree of diversification among its students, who maintain a friendly atmosphere. The study office was at my disposal for any questions or problems. In addition, there are plenty of dining options on and around the campus. All in all, I've had a positive experience with Monash University.

The country Malaysia is very diverse and offers many beautiful places to escape from everyday university life. Whether a cultural trip, outdoors or a short beach vacation, you can have everything for a fair price. I especially liked the fact that the English language could be used everywhere as most people speak it. In addition, the geographical location of Malaysia and the international airport make it very easy to travel to the surrounding countries cheaply during the semester break or after the semester, since most flights start or stop there.
