The House

The House of Science - a house that creates knowledge
We offer visitors from Bremen and the surrounding area a broad program:
With exhibitions, lectures and discussions, we bring you close to current topics from science and research in an understandable way from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The House of Science is closed on public holidays. Since the House of Science has, among other things, an elevator, the rooms are up to the 1st floor barrier-free.

We offer you exciting insights into the work of universities, colleges and research institutes. We inform school classes about the latest results from the world of research. Dialogue with teachers and business representatives is sought in regular roundtables.

Everyone interested is cordially invited!

Science as a motor for developments
In the last few years a great research potential has been built up in the state of Bremen. Two universities, three colleges and highly respected research institutes shape a lively scientific landscape. These institutions work together in a trusting and mutually beneficial manner in many areas.

The diverse events of the "City of Science 2005" program have resulted in an even greater willingness to engage in dialogue. The hub for the exchange between science and the population as well as schools, art and business will in future be the House of Science.
