Citizens from EU / EEA / Switzerland

If you are a citizen of the EU / EEA / Switzerland, then you need no Visa. You can enter Germany and work here. You only need valid proof of identity to enter the country. After your entry you also need no Residence permit for a long-term stay. Exception: Citizens of Switzerland need a so-called Swiss residence permit.
