How do remittances help a country?

What can I do if a transfer doesn't reach my Revolut account?

How long can it take for a transfer to reach my account?

The duration of a transfer mainly depends on the country in which the sender's bank is located.

Domestic transfers typically take up to 2 working days, while international transfers can take up to 5 working days.

Transfers from a European country or the UK should also take two working days.

What if the normal time frame has passed but the money still hasn't arrived?

Ask the sender to check the following:

  • The details on the transfer confirmation match your account details.

It is worth checking again whether the details on the transfer confirmation completely match your account details in the app. Make sure there are no typos.

  • The sender used the correct account information for this particular type of transfer.

For example, if you have local GBP account details for a GBP transfer, check that the sender used them instead of the IBAN.

If there is an additional wallet reference that should be mentioned, see if it was actually entered in the correct field.

  • The money was not returned to the sender.

Even if the transfer was not directly credited back to the sender's account, the money could have reached his bank's system.

How can Revolut help me track down the money?

If you need help from our support team in connection with an expected transfer, please fill out the following form and attach the transfer confirmation.

This can usually be generated in the online banking portal. The sender can also contact their bank directly and ask for it.

The confirmation should contain the following information:

  • the date the transfer was sent;
  • the transfer amount;
  • your name and account details
  • the name and account details of the sender.

At the same time, the sender can also ask their bank to track the money.
