What do rules mean to you

Explanations regarding the Corona regulation

These statements on the Corona regulation
are written in easy language.
They are easier to read that way.
We write in the masculine form.
For example we write: Citizen.
By that we mean citizens.

These explanations are subject to change.
It depends,
how many people have Corona.

Corona is very dangerous.
We have to protect ourselves and other people.
That is why there are certain rules.
These rules are in the Corona regulation.
With the Corona regulation
the Ministry of Social Affairs adheres to the Infection Protection Act.
The Corona regulation is divided into 4 large parts.
We explain the rules in the Corona regulation to you.

Part 1: General Rules

This amended Corona regulation applies
from May 3, 2021 to May 22, 2021.

Point 1: Why does the Corona regulation exist?

Corona is very dangerous.
It is important to protect all citizens from Corona.
Through the Corona regulation
Fewer people should be infected with Corona.
Another word for infect is: to infect.

The authorities need to find out better:
How and where exactly people got infected with Corona.
The authorities are, for example, the police
or the health department.

Some people have to go to the hospital because of Corona.
It may be,
that at some point there will be too few beds in hospitals.
That is also why there are the rules in this Corona regulation.
All people have to obey the rules.
For example, fewer people are allowed to meet.
The authorities also ensure that
that everyone obeys the rules.

What are the rules?
You can read this in the next points.

Point 2: The distance rule

Because of Corona, people are not allowed to be too close together.
That's why they have to keep their distance.
The distance must be 1.50 meters.
Do you always have to keep your distance?
No. For example, do you have a mask on?
Then you don't necessarily have to keep the distance.
The distance rule only applies to children at school.
But not in the afternoon care, for example.

Point 3: wearing a face mask

When driving a car with people from different households
you must wear a face mask.

You must also wear a face mask in these areas:

in all means of public transport
For example in:

  • Fines
  • Lanes
  • Taxis
  • Aircraft

in waiting areas
For example:

  • at platforms and bus stops
  • in train stations
  • in airports

in public institutions
For example in:

  • Town halls
  • Offices
  • People's high schools

in all practices and facilities
from the public health service.

For example in:

  • Doctor's offices
  • Practices of therapists

There are people,
who have health problems.
These problems can
get worse from wearing a full face mask.
These people do not have to wear a face mask either.
But they need a doctor's certificate.

If you do sports,
you do not have to wear a face mask.

Do you have to wear a face mask everywhere?

No. For example:

  • When you work in companies,
if you can keep your distance from your colleagues.
And when there is no public traffic.
  • At the doctor's and in hospitals,
if treatment with a mask is not possible.
  • during the meal.

    how the mask can protect.
For example, through a glass pane between 2 people.
  • when doing sports in certain facilities.
    For example in fitness studios.
  • in day care centers for children
and in other specific facilities for children.
You only have to as a visitor
    wear a mask.

Point 4: hygiene

There are other rules besides wearing a mask
and the distance rule.
These rules are also intended to prevent
that people become infected with Corona.
These rules are called: hygiene rules.

The hygiene rules are:
