What products are good for skin care
Facial care: these are the 4 must-haves for beautiful skin!
Bad news for everyone whose face care routine consists of just one cream: In their mid-twenties, the skin needs more to keep its glow. Beauty experts recommend exactly four products when it comes to facial care: Day cream, night cream, serum and eye care.
That sounds like a lot, but it is the simple answer to the fact that the needs of the skin differ from day to night and in certain areas of the face.

Which facial care suits my skin?
The skin type is the most important criterion when choosing the right facial care product.Oily skin needs different products than dry skin. But external influences such as the weather or humidity also play a role in facial care: When the temperature is below zero in winter, the skin changes - it becomes less fat and loses moisture.
In summer, on the other hand, the heat gets the sebum glands going and the complexion becomes oily. Good facial care has to react to these changes, in other words: an oil-free gel goes in the beach bag, but a rich cream in the suitcase on the way to a skiing holiday.

Facial care: these are the fantastic four!
In order to optimally care for your skin and to maintain its elasticity and radiance, you should invest in the following four facial care basics:
1. A day cream
Moisture and protection are the two essential basic needs of the skin - the day cream fulfills them. It gives the skin of the face important moisture that it needs to function well and to look fresh and plump. Like a flower bed, the cells lose water over the course of the day. The day cream strengthens the skin's own protective film with oils. This prevents the evaporation from becoming too great and drying out the skin.
Antioxidants and vitamins should also be added - they slow down early wrinkles and support the skin's own defenses. A sun protection factor is also indispensable, which should be at least 15, even better at 20 in winter - anti-aging couldn't be easier.
Moisturizing day care for after-shopping can be found here:
Shiseido Essential Energy Day Cream:
Shiseido Essential Energy's day cream contains super hyaluronic acid, which can bind six hundred times its weight in water. It should provide the skin with particularly intensive moisture and make it appear smooth and relaxed after application. Practical: With an SPF20, the cream protects the skin from UV rays in everyday life.

Biotherm Aquasource Face Cream:
The paraben-free day cream from Biotherm Aquasource is especially suitable for dry and sensitive skin. It should strengthen the skin's natural barrier function. The ceramides they contain should also protect the skin from drying out and ensure that dirt and negative environmental influences cannot penetrate the skin.

Clinique Superdefense Moisturizer:
Anyone with difficult combination skin is in good hands with this day cream. Clinique's Superdefense Moisturizer is perfume-free and is designed to soothe stressed skin. With an SPF20, the light care also protects your skin against light-induced skin aging.

2. Night cream
The night cream is more than just a nice bedside treat for the skin: it fills up the moisture reserves and supports its regeneration with special ingredients. It runs at full speed while we sleep. The result is a visibly relaxed complexion in the morning.
Night creams are often a little richer than day creams. For oily skin, there are lower-fat products that do the job just as well. If you have a particularly oily complexion, you can only support the skin at night with a special serum that does not contain any fats.
You can find suitable care products for the night here:
Avène Tolérance cream:
If you want to give your sensitive skin some rest overnight, this cream can be exactly the right one for you. The Avène Tolérance cream consists of only a few ingredients and is intended to soothe sensitive skin immediately. Thanks to shea butter and safflower oil, the cream is said to provide the skin with intensive moisture and lipids.

Origins Make A Difference Plus:
Does your skin have a lot of dry spots? Then you can pamper them with the Make A Difference Plus care from Origins. The cream for day and night is intended to repair existing damage caused by a lack of moisture and intensively moisturize the skin. The complexion should appear fresher and firmer.

Weleda Evening Primrose Night Cream:
Do you have mature skin and want night care with a skin-tightening effect? The evening primrose night cream from Weleda contains tiger grass extracts, which are said to have a strengthening, hydrating and plumping effect. The building processes of mature skin should be optimally supported overnight.
You can order the Weleda night care, for example here on Amazon *
3. Eye cream
Good facial care takes into account that the face consists of different zones, sometimes even different skin types. The area around the eyes is a real special case. Here the skin is extremely thin and is at the same time heavily stressed by blinking or rubbing. By the end of 20 at the latest, an eye cream is no longer an optional extra, but a must.
Its ingredients protect the sensitive area, avoid creases caused by dryness and keep the risk of early expression lines ('crow's feet') low. Eye care also contains special oils. Unlike those in day cream, they don't 'spread' (that's what it is called when fat spreads 'by itself' on the skin). Nasty burning in the eyes is therefore impossible!
You can find eye creams for after-shopping here:
Lancôme Advanced Génifique Yeux:
The anti-aging eye cream Advanced Génifique from Lancôme is enriched with vitamins, prebiotics and probiotics, hyaluronic acid and buckwheat seed extract. It is said to provide the skin with plenty of moisture and to regenerate it. In addition, wrinkles and shadows under the eyes should be reduced. A particular advantage: Despite its rich formulation, the cream should be absorbed particularly quickly, and concealer, foundation and Co. should then be easy to apply.

Dr. Hauschka Daily Hydrating Eye Cream:
Dr. Hauschka is designed to supply the delicate skin around the eyes with moisture and make it appear more relaxed. Its formulation with rose water, pineapple, marshmallow and marigold should have a particularly refreshing and calming effect.

Serums are more than an entertaining beauty hype. Serums contain active ingredients in a more concentrated form than day or night care. They are a care extra that is particularly good for the skin when it is stressful, too much sun, unbalanced diet or too little sleep.
And let's be honest: some of that is always the case, right? That is why beauticians recommend women over 30 to use a serum in the morning and in the evening - in each case before the corresponding cream. Serums alone are not enough, however, as they do not contain any substances that protect the surface of the skin.
You can find serums for after-shopping here:
L'Occitane Immortelle Overnight Serum:
The overnight serum from L'Occitane is supposed to help the skin to regenerate itself optimally overnight and to make it beautifully supple. It contains thousands of microspheres with encapsulated immortelle essential oil, which is known for its anti-aging effect.
You can find the serum here for approx. 59 euros in the L'Occitane online shop *
Annemarie Börlind Auqua Nature Serum:
Annemarie Börlind's vegan facial serum contains aloe vera, green algae extract and botanical hyaluronic acid to provide the skin with intensive moisture. Willow rose extract is also said to refine the pores and ensure an even complexion.

Facial care: it's the right mix that counts
It is the interaction of all four basic care products that makes ideal facial care. A mix of different brands is okay, but the products of a manufacturer or a care range are coordinated and complement each other perfectly. It doesn't have to be premium products. Even with a small beauty budget, the skin can be effectively cared for. Good products are characterized less by the price than by the following criteria:
- they contain well-tolerated (possibly allergy-tested) substances that are listed on the packaging
- they only smell slightly or, ideally, do without fragrances
- they have an expiration date (which of course has not yet passed)
- they indicate for which skin type or which skin needs they are suitable
- they hardly contain any preservatives, dyes or emulsifiers
Something important at the end: Skin care is always very individual. Only you can judge for yourself whether the tips or products presented by us work for you. If you have very sensitive skin that is prone to irritation, it may be advisable to see a skin specialist. You are guaranteed to find the care that suits your skin's needs.
