Effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on Swissmint's business activities

Resumption of deliveries of numismatic products abroad

Due to the corona pandemic, Swissmint has not been able to deliver to delivery addresses outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein since the beginning of April 2020. The delivery conditions have improved in many countries, so that from July 1, 2020, Swissmint will again be accepting orders for foreign delivery addresses and their delivery.

All Swissmint dispatches are registered. Depending on the situation in the country of destination, parcels and letters are delivered without a signature. The corresponding proof of delivery applies. The delivery times published by Swiss Post cannot be adhered to depending on the country.

Detailed information and existing restrictions for deliveries outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein by Swiss Post can be found under the following links:

Caution: Fake email messages in the name of Swissmint

Dear Customer

Swissmint has found that fake emails in English are being sent on their behalf. The sender is an address with the ending "@ spc-gmh.org". Under the subject "INVOICE UPDATE!" A hitherto unknown perpetrator tries to obtain information about bills and asks for a payment stop. This is necessary due to a bank audit.

Please note that Swissmint does not send any such emails or request any information from your customers. Do not respond to such emails or requests to submit confidential information. Ideally, delete such emails without opening them.

Swissmint tries to determine the origin of the falsified email messages.

Acceptance stop for orders from abroad

Dear Swissmint customer

Due to the current epidemic with the coronavirus (COVID-19), Swissmint can now NO orders for their numismatic products from abroad receive.

This is because the shipping of the products is no longer guaranteed at this point in time. The Swiss Post has imposed a freeze on international letters and parcels for many countries. In countries where shipping would still be possible, however, the delivery takes place without a signature (receipt of the goods). For these reasons, until further notice, Swissmint can NOT send goods abroad or accept orders from foreign recipients of goods.

Thank you for your understanding.
